3D Identification of geo-bodies using Halliburton GeoProbe
3D correlation within seismic attribute, color sum spectral decomposition, inversion and seismic facies cubes allows tracing the structure of the fluvial part of the section in the form of geological bodies. Using well data the fluvial system geobodies can be further differentiated into reservoirs and channels filed with shales.
Such identification of geobodies using cubes of seismic attributes was successfully demonstrated for carbonate sediment as well.
